The idea of organizing a charity cycling tour around Prague was born spontaneously during a flight from Düsseldorf to Prague, where our CTO Michael Kapr and the former director of Billigence CZ were discussing how great it would be to cycle around Prague.
The idea that grew beyond the original plan eventually became a vision to combine a sporting challenge with a social gathering and inviting colleagues, customers, and friends. Meeting people with similar enthusiasm for sport and data seemed like an amazing opportunity. And so, the Prague Orbit project was born, with its name referring to the famous London Orbital.
To add a deeper meaning to the event, we decided to combine the social and sporting dimension with a charity initiative. This way, every participant will not only experience an unforgettable day in the saddle but will also help a worthy cause.

We will meet on Saturday, 6 June at 9:00 am in the car park by Únětický pivovar.
PARKING NOTICE:
Parking is limited at the venue, so please indicate in the form whether you will be arriving by car. On arrival, please use only the designated parking spaces.
Before the start, we will be personally welcomed by the founder of Cesta za snem, the NGO we are supporting through this year’s event. Light refreshments will be available, race numbers will be distributed, and then everyone will set off on one of the planned routes according to their preference and fitness level.
Whether you choose the shorter family route or the longer cycling challenge, we will all meet again at the finish line at Únětický pivovar.
At the finish, there will be a catering, the chance to grill sausages, and a small children’s programme.
This route is suitable for trekking bikes. It can be shortened by using public transport.

Cesta za snem is a non-profit organisation that has been bringing together able-bodied people and people with disabilities through sport and physical activity since 2012. It organises sporting and experiential events for the public, companies, schools and other institutions, and works with a number of leading Czech companies as well as regional authorities across the Czech Republic.
The organisation also produces and sells handbikes, paddling trainers and SkiErg machines. These unique machines enable people with disabilities to train regularly and maintain their physical fitness.
Agáta is bravely coping with the effects of cerebral palsy, and her greatest goal is to be as independent as possible. Last year, she started at a new school in Brno and moved far away from her home in Ostrava. Despite her disability, she strives to live as independently as possible, and her determination is truly admirable.
Special orthoses help Agáta on her journey towards greater independence. Thanks to them, she is not reliant solely on a wheelchair and can walk short distances on her own. These orthoses are essential for her, but they are not covered by health insurance. A new set costs CZK 170,000. This year, Agáta became the patron of Cesta za snem, which is supporting her on her journey towards greater independence.
