Prague Orbit is a charity cycling tour around Prague which is regularly organized by Billigence company.
Its goal is to connect people who are enthusiastic about riding a bicycle and supporting a good thing.
The whole idea was born on a plane from Dusseldorf to Prague when our CTO Michael Kapr and former director Tomas Matl were thinking that it would be great to ride around Prague and invite the whole team, customers and friends too.
Connecting like-minded people from whole Europe who share a passion for sports and/or data, seemed like a great idea. And so we dive into it and called it Prague Orbit just like the London Orbital road.
We also used the synergy of social and sporting activities and added the opportunity to contribute to charity projects.

Let’s gather at on Saturday, 8th June at 9:00 am at the car park in front of Restaurace Šárka, where we are going to welcome you, offer some breakfast (traditional donuts and sandwiches) and give you a starting number.
Before the start, we will meet the director of the DAR association, to whom we annually contribute money raised from the starting fee and sent voluntary financial contributions (without active participation) in FULL for respite care for disabled children.

2. family route (kids – friendly) – 35 km, which leads around the favourite restaurant U Lasíků or Únětický pivovar
We are going to end up in the restaurant Pivnice Samota, where you can enjoy a small refreshment. All in accordance with current government measures.

Based on experience from previous years, the usual average amount that participants send is 40 EUR (an adult), 20 EUR (a child).

We raised for the Association of Parents and Friends of the “DAR” Center in 2023.
Association of parents and friends of “DAR” Center is a support organization for the DAR Center, which falls under DC Paprsek Praha 6 providing care and support for families with disabled children (with mental, physical, sensory, combined, autism disabilities).
The aim of the Association is to raise funds for services that are above standards for DAR, for example, respite services, canistherapy, hippotherapy, training and courses for physiotherapists, special individual compensatory and training aids.
